Blackheads are a very common form of skin disorder. They are formed when excess oils have accumulated in the sebaceous gland. Blackheads can be located anywhere on the body but they generally can be found on the face. The blackheads on the nose and ear have the same characteristics as any other blackhead but since they are in awkward position they are difficult to treat.

Treatments for nose and ear blackheads is a bit different from general treatments for blackheads because of the sensitivity of the area. Nose and ear blackheads should be extracted with a good metallic extractor with the help of a dermatologist. It is important that you not use the extractor yourself as it could lead to damage of the skin tissues and scarring of the skin that could be permanent.

Light squeezing:

Light squeezing is a technique that could be used in the case of blackheads. You should wash your hands and squeeze gently on the blackhead affected area. When the pus comes out clean it with cotton and don't let it spread. Picking or scratching the blackhead will make scars to appear.

Chemical peels:

Chemical peel could be used to treat acne on the ear and nose but they can cause certain side effects so they should not be preferred.

Blackheads on the ear and nose can be very irritating but they should be handled with care or else they could leave scars.
