Athlete's Foot Symptoms
Athlete’s foot is a skin fungus or a form of Ringworm; it affects the moist areas between your toes and if not treated properly can spread to toenails and the sides of your feet. Athlete’s foot is like any other fungus but early symptoms include itching and burning between toes.
They may also form Itchy blisters and causes outer layer of skin to peel. Athlete's foot is often caused by the use of common shower areas used by sports teams, sports clubs or places where there are recreational facilities and physical activities are on the higher side. So this gets transferred by the people who use these facilities and then afterward their personal baths get infected.
Other symptoms include dry skin, scaling and inflammation. It may spread to other parts of the body as well, like the underarms and the groin region. It can be prevented by taking a proper care of the skin. Washing and keeping the feet clean, using a feet powder. Fungicidal creams are also effective in healing.
