Using cleansers and acne wash is easy and can be used twice a day at morning and night. Most people do not prefer using acne creams and lotions where possible and use acne cleansers and they remove dead skin cells, sebum and kills bacteria. Proper acne treatment should be initiated soon after you notice acne. In case of delayed acne treatment, acne lesions may leave deep scars that hard to fill and take longer to disappear.

If you are a pregnant or breastfeeding women, you should be more cautious in using sulfur based acne products. Women often use products without knowing its side effects. Studies reveal that sulfur may be absorbed through mother's skin and may cause birth defects.
